The Trafford Ring is a portable mini ring, demonstrating 'English Style' full circle ringing. Whilst many people have listened to bells rung in church towers, few know about the mechanics of 'full circle' change ringing. Containing six fully working bells together with their fixtures and fittings, the mini ring illustrates the principles of 'English style' ringing with bells controlled by rope and wheel. The bells were cast by Taylors of Loughborough in 2003 and the tenor weighs 38.9lbs. The bells are privately owned by Chris M Trafford.
